The Burton Affect

Whilst at Uni in the early 90s I was fortunate enough to meet this gentleman as where a group of my other fellow students. His style may owe a lot to the Pop Artist Bridget Riley with the use of black and white lines. But he has this Gothic style that transcends and brings show much more to his Art. Add to that his creativeness and wonderful worlds he makes. Perhaps i am more a kin to him because of his faith and wiliness to stand up with his friends eg Johnny Depp and so it brought me closer to his style when he was under attack for standing by his friend where i used his style and a caricature he had done of himself that i slightly tweaked and took him into not only a 2d world of support by a stop animation of support for him
