Tugs Bar

Tugs bar came about because of a chat with That Umbrella Guy. He was looking for an animator and as he knew i had been supporting his work etc asked me if i did it. To which i said no, but after i knew he was struggling to find someone i said leave it with me. Together i made something rough (I thought was aweful and TUG loved it and used it. It was basic animation, layer, with the style of Captain Pugwash. The idea of the bar was based on the Movie Cocktail and TV series Cheers (though there are a lot of references to others such as, Friends, Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters, Top Gun, Sleep Hollow, Beetlejuice & Mortdecai to name a few. From there the Bar developed as a bit of fun and is linked into the all the animations i have done since. As Far as I am concerned this bar belong to TUG and his community, and it will always grow and expand in the way it has. It was through TUG and Phil Gould that i found people liked the Captain Pugwash style.
