Pointillism art which made TV

Updated: Dec 17, 2022

After Impressionism came Post-Impressionism. Along with that came Paul Signac. An Artist who used dots. Dots of colour. It might seem strange now but this with this dot of colour comes the idea of an image made up of multiple dots. Dots of light dots of colour. When the TV came it was a system of light, light coming through as different brightness's. No light (black) from dim (through the greys) to the bright (the white). Colour TV Came and you used to be able to go up and look at the pixels of colour Red/Green/blue.

Anyway using the idea of Pixels, much like Paul Signac i have produced an image of Bruce Willis and Cybill Sheppard in their 80's Moonlighting pose. The Title and actors all done in induvial dots of colour. The back ground to keep the dots theme is spray painted, Orange, blue, white and Black.

A single dot really can make a painting, a picture or a moving image.
