At the beginning of 2022 the Global news and local news was nothing but depressing. So on Facebook and Twitter I decided to share a bit of fun and love and joy. People just can help but smile when they see Minions and most people i know remember Level 42 and have fond memories so why not put them both together. So here we have a series of the Minions redoing either the Album covers or 12" single covers of the band. Enjoy.

Pop art has always been linked to Popular culture o which Lichtenstein and Warhol used to its fullest. Here we use one of the most iconic cartoon forms as in the Looney Tunes and give it the full pop art treatment. Using characters and turning them into a piece of art for all to enjoy. For adults to think of better times. For Children to possibly find Art for the first time that they like.
Hanna Barbara is linked with so many iconic cartoons, from the flintstones, Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry, Catch the pigeon, Top Cat. Here we give them the Pop Art treatment to encourage Children (and adults) to engage with Art maybe for the first time.
The Rock and Pop world has had a real impact on society from the 1950s onwards. Here we try to look at this world and give it an art feel that all can hopefully engage with. Mainly done in a Pop Art style this is our homage to the world of modern music.
The 80s was the decade where music became the influencer. From MTV being born to electronic music becoming the norm. People rushing to make the next great music video which in turn would direct the way TV and Films would be made. For me this decade was when everything came together and Popular music was at its biggest. So a group of paintings attempting to reflect the style and players.
Queen are part of Music History. Freddie, Brian, Roger and John. Not only did their look become flamboyant but their music became iconic because of its uniqueness at the time. In a way Queen impacted the Music world, the film world and the Art world and brought people together. For me personally Its a Kind of Magic period is their best combined work. So here the art is brought together to make something to honour them
